Fly The Kite to waste even more time!!

Bob's Java Kite

Don't see the kite, maybe you are using Internet Explorer and don't have Sun Java installed
Get it here:- Sun Java Auto Download and Install for MS Internet Explorer
Pretty sure Sun Java is installed but kite not visible ? Go to 'Tools' on menu bar, click and select 'Internet Options'
Now select 'Advanced' scroll down to locate 'Java(Sun)'
ensure there is a check mark alongside 'Use JRE ........ for {applets}[requires restart]'
Can't find 'Java(Sun)' listed ? Then you don't have Sun Java installed

By way of explanation...

Stunt kites are flown with two lines. In the most basic of manoeuvres, they control the steering of the kite, either clock-wise or anti-clockwise. As those of you who fly know, there are many other ways to influence the flight of a kite but this basic simulation is designed to simply steer the kite.

With the mouse button up and the mouse in the centre of the blue background, the kite will fly straight. The kite will turn clockwise if the mouse position is right of centre. The farther off centre, the more radical the turn. The same is true for anti-clockwise and left of centre. Holding the left mouse button down will freeze the steering.

Advanced flyers will note that they can get a stall by pushing, that is sliding the mouse up. By pulling down, the kite will speed up. The physics model is brain dead but this is only a toy anyhow!
